We are Mariangela and Enrico, managers of Rifugio Bogani since the 1994. During this years our passion for mountains required us commitment and efforts but it has also given us experience, satisfaction and gratitude of climbers and hikers who stopped at our shelter for a night, to have an hot meal or just to find a cozy place to relax and chat.
At Rifugio Bogani you are sure to find our traditional and delicious dishes cooked with passion by Mariangela, using fresh products from the alpine pasture Moncodeno, run by Enrico during the summer season. The mules carry “caprini, ricotta and medium-aged cheeses” till the hut, where they are served at the table or sold at retail. So don’t be surprised if, on the way to the refuge, you will make pleasant meetings with our animals: donkeys, goats, sheep and pigs that are all around in the surrounding pasture.

During the years we made a lot of works to protect our area. The shelter is an example in the environmental field: it is energetically independent; in fact solar panels supply the electricity and also the hot water and heating are obtained through the combustion of timber from the wooden of larch. What else? We wait for you every weekend of the year (weather permitting) and all days during the summer season! A rural and family atmosphere and also the best of our traditions are at your complete disposal!
